This week’s hashtag#ThankfulThursday shout-out goes to someone truly special in our TAG travel community ~ Liz Weber
Friend. Colleague. Trusted partner in travel for many years.
Recently, TAG (Travel Assignment Group) had the pleasure of hosting a farewell breakfast to celebrate Liz, Travel Manager at Famous Brands, as she begins her well-deserved retirement after more than 20 years of dedicated service.
TAG has proudly partnered with the Famous Brands travel programme since 2013 and over that time a professional relationship grew into something far more meaningful – a genuine partnership built on trust, respect and plenty of shared milestones along the way.
Irene Van Aswegen reflects so beautifully on that journey:
“I’ve personally had the privilege of working closely with Liz and managing our relationship since 2016, building a strong and trusted partnership over the years.”
The breakfast was a small token of appreciation from the TAG team. A moment to pause, say thank you and celebrate the collaboration, professionalism and warmth Liz brought to every interaction.
While we’re certainly sad to see her go, we’re equally excited for her as she steps into a brand-new chapter filled with well-earned rest, adventure and time to enjoy all the things retirement has to offer.
As the saying goes:
“All lasting business is built on friendship.”
And that’s exactly what this journey has been about.
So, here’s a little hashtag#ThankfulThursday reminder for all of us ~ appreciate the people we meet along the way. The colleagues, the partners, the friends who make the everyday work meaningful.
And better yet? Tell them.
A kind word, a moment of recognition, a simple “thank you” can absolutely make someone’s day.
