Requirements to enter France as final destination have been updated on July 18, 2021:
Fully vaccinated travellers (EMA-recognized*) can now enter France without performing a PCR test from any kind of country (green/orange/red).
Furthermore, coming from South Africa (red country), there is no more compelling reason, no 7-day self-isolation is required anymore, no antigen test upon arrival for fully vaccinated passengers.
As there is no more PCR test required to exit South Africa since last week, the change mentioned above can also be applicable out of SA.

As a reminder, not vaccinated or fully vaccinated people still need to present/do, to enter France as a final destination:
*A negative PCR Test or Negative Antigen test not older than 48 hours prior to departure
*Antigen test on arrival
*10 days quarantine controlled by health and safety officials
*A Sworn Statement confirming that they do not have Covid-19
*A completed Travel Certificate for access to French territory
Furthermore from July 21, a ‘pass sanitaire’ (health pass), will be required by people over the age of 12 yrs, to attend leisure & cultural venues with more than 50 people present. Until Aug 30, minors up to 18 yrs old are exempt.
From Aug 1, this health pass will also be needed to visit cafés, restaurants, shopping centres over 20 000 sqm, long-distance transportation (aircraft, buses & trains) and hospitals. Until Aug 30, minors up to 18 yr old will be exempt from this.
Masks no longer mandatory to wear masks outdoors, except at gatherings, (like queues, markets and stadiums), except in some tourism areas. Mask wearing in enclosed public spaces compulsory.
