Ireland has now scrapped all COVID-19-related entry requirements for international arrivals. Travellers entering Ireland no longer need to present proof of a negative COVID test, nor will they have to quarantine on arrival, whether they are vaccinated or not. Passenger locator forms are also no longer required.

flights resumed this morning after the South African Civil Aviation Authority reinstated the company’s Air Operator Certificate. The flight schedules to be restored in a phased manner. Comair CEO, Glenn Orsmond, said they were pleased that the situation was finally resolved, following an immense effort over five days and nights to engage & work with the CAA.
New Zealand – to reopen to vaccinated travellers from May 1
Canada – As of April 1, will remove its pre-arrival testing requirements for vaccinated travellers.
Vietnam – officially opens to tourism. Travellers do not need to take tests or provide proof of vaccination.
Japan – Tsunami alert cancelled after earthquake struck off the coast of Fukushima
Hawaii – will drop its mask mandate on March 26
Gibraltar – to scrap passenger locator form from March 18
Thailand – keeps PCR tests in place as case numbers remain high
Hong Kong – to review covid restrictions
Mauritius – has dropped the requirement for visitors to take a pre-travel PCR test with a negative result, as a condition of entry to the country.
Seychelles – drops PCR tests but it is worth noting that the definition of ‘fully vaccinated’ incl. booster shots if more than 6 months have elapsed since the second jab in the primary series. Unvaccinated must present neg PCR test/antigen 72hrs before departure
Serbia, Turkey & UAE have all seen traffic increase as they remain some of the few options open to travellers looking to get in or out of Russia.
