TAG (Travel Assignment Group) ceo Jonathan Gerber and our TAG Revenue Manager James Gerber are safe and sound in Hawaii and ‘Mission Possible’ has now started!
The next few weeks will give us a ‘personal view’ of a first time visitor to this bucket list destination on its people, the sights & sounds and of course the preparation ‘Jimmy G’ is doing to get ready for the biggest event for a triathlete – #Kona #triathlon #worldchampionship
The Boss-Man first ‘tastes and experiences’ have had him note the absolute wonderful hospitality of the people of Hawaii, they really make the difference from other similar islands visited.
“They don’t just do it, they live it! From Blaize at the Budget car rental desk to Faith our waitress at lunch and everyone in between, they have just been incredible. Extremely efficient, hospitable and engaging and I think are a key reason why Hawaii is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. It all comes down ultimately to the people in hospitality and Hawaii has it in spades!”
And a reminder of James’ Mission Possible, all in aid of our TAG Foundation:
“But why am I here? I am here because a young man dared to dream, because a young man worked his backside off to get here. On the 8th of October James races in the Iron Man World Championships, what a time for a proud father to be alive. It will be my greatest pleasure to see my son take part in what has been his ambition for a few years now, quite simply it was an opportunity that I would never have missed if I could help it. It has been inspirational to watch his journey, his tough regime, hard work and total dedication. (Sounds like TAG during Covid!) My challenge to all of us is what drives us? What motivates us, what is getting us to challenge ourselves and improve ourselves on a daily basis? We are better than we think we are, we are all capable of doing great things!
