The South African Weather Service has issued an orange level 6 warning for possible disruptive snow in several parts of the country until Wednesday (July 12), according to The South African. Snow started to fall over the high-lying areas of the Western, Northern Cape, and Eastern Cape this weekend (July 8).
Snow is expected to spread to the southern Drakensberg with light snow possible in the Highveld and Mpumalanga.
