TAG Foundation

Opportunities & Prepared Blessings

Some doors open slowly.
Some doors open suddenly in ways you could not imagine.

We had to share GOOD NEWS of some of our exceptional TAG (Travel Assignment Group) TAG Foundation Taggers.

Lebogang Selahla – Now The Graduate
He wrote a beautiful tribute on his socials, to his family, especially honouring his mother and gave thanks to the people and tribe that helped him along the way, including King Edward VII School (KES) and the TAG Foundation.

Parts that really reasonated with us:

“Opportunities reveal themselves to you, sometimes even subtly. Use your talent, whatever they may be, to propel your life forward, whatever that may mean to you. Listen to that voice inside of you that speaks to what you are meant for and capable of doing. I hope my journey inspires you to grab every opportunity that God brings your way and never take them for granted. Shoot for the stars, aim for the moon. The sky is the limit. Sometimes things do not go our way but when one door closes another door open.

I would like to thank my family for all the sacrifices, seen that unseen, that were made to make this possible. Thank you to everyone at Moddies, KES and TAG who believed in me, my dream and pushed me not just to be a better rugby player but also a better human being.”

Lebo, brother, you inspire us, you’re motivating the Class of 2026 to keep at it, to dream, to believe. Well done!

Also on sport front …

⭐️Sihle Moyo

Selected to the U16 Southern Gauteng Schools Hockey, U16C squad.

Super proud and delighted for Sihle. Enjoy the opportunity to represent Parktown High School for Girls
And our Foundation in upcoming tournaments.

Then this week Jonathan Gerber shared a great image on his socials and reminded us that in that photo from MD 2024 ~ we now celebrate having Esethu Mnebelele, Olunje Mehlomakulu, Thomas Beling and Vusi Moyo as Junior Boks. How lekker is that!!

“Amazing to think that there are 4 Junior Boks in this picture plus one great young man & of course yours truly – taken just before the KES matric dance of 2024 @foundationtag – incredible actually – proud of these young men for grabbing the opportunity ” ~ JG

A great Thursday reminder to be grateful for opportunities, to grab them ‘hands-full’, work them, empower yourself, learn from mentors, coaches, leaders and trust the sharing process.

Again, we can’t thank ALL our TAG Foundation supporters, family, friends, donors, our amazing partner Schools, KES & Parktown Girls’ and sponsors enough … you are not only giving these youngers the freedom to succeed.
You’re giving them the means to succeed.

Reach out to Senzo Mkhize if you want to join the movement, the change through education.

Today is a good day. Embrace the good vibes. Take a moment to appreciate something small today.
