Cape Town Air Access, powered by Wesgro, congratulates South African Airways on the recent announcement on the launch of its first direct flight between Cape Town International Airport and Mauritius.
From 9 December 2025, the new international route will operate three times a week, until mid-Jan 2026, and will see an adjustment to 2 flights a week until mid March 2026 to manage seasonal demand.
This milestone reflects ongoing efforts to expand Cape Town’s air connectivity and unlock greater economic opportunities. Each new route strengthens the region’s competitiveness, driving tourism, trade, and investment across key markets.
